JUPEB APPOINTS A NEW REGISTRAR AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

History made its waves on the 2nd of May, 2019 as Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) witnessed a transition of leadership from Prof. Duro Ajeyalemi whose tenure ended on the 30th April, 2019. The Centre Directors of Partner and affiliate Universities gathered in Lagos to inaugurate the new Registrar/CEO of JUPEB, Prof. Solomon Adewale Okunuga, a distinguished Professor of Mathematics who had carved a niche for himself as a scholar per excellence and a successful family man. Professor Solomon Wale Okunuga began his career as a first class student of Mathematics, and best graduating student of UNILORIN set of 1982 to a full Professor of Mathematics in UNILAG in 2011. He is a husband, father, pastor and an accomplished writer. He has authored five textbooks and co-authored additional three textbooks. Prof. Okunuga had occupied both academic and administrative positions in LASU and UNILAG and, until his appointment as a Registrar/CEO of JUPEB, he was the Director of Academic Planning Unit, University of Lagos.
